Project Overview and Core Engineering Challenges
Case Study: Frozen Shrimp Packaging Production Line
In modern seafood processing, conveying frozen shrimp is a complex engineering challenge. After rapid freezing, shrimp are extremely brittle and their surface moisture makes them sticky, creating high risks of breakage and agglomeration. A specialized conveying system acts as the critical hub connecting the freezing tunnel, weighing stations, and packaging machines, determining the overall yield rate and product purity of the entire line.
Conveyed Materials: Frozen shrimp (characterized by brittleness, moisture, and fragility).
Application Nodes: Covering the entire production line from freezer outlet, material distribution, weighing, packaging, to final metal detection and storage.
Harsh Operating Conditions: Requires extreme temperature resistance, protection against breakage, and strict compliance with food-grade hygiene and safety standards.

Handling at the Freezer Outlet & Intake
Preventing Sticking and Ensuring Hygienic Transfer
【Operating Challenges】
Exiting the freezing tunnel, shrimp are extremely cold and their surface moisture creates a sticky, low-friction interface. Traditional metal belts or open conveyors often suffer from material sticking, slippage, and residue trapping in gaps, creating severe hygiene risks in the harsh seafood environment.
【Core Technologies and Solutions】
We utilize our Modular Mesh Belt Conveyors for the initial intake stage. The food-grade PP/POM modular belts are engineered with a smooth, non-stick surface to ensure stable transfer without damaging the shrimp. The entire system is constructed with 304 stainless steel frames, resisting corrosion in the wet, icy environment. The open-frame design supports 360° high-pressure water jet cleaning, completely eliminating unsafe and unhygienic hidden areas.

Mid-Range Process: Gentle Lifting and Uniform Feeding
Protecting Fragile Shrimp and Ensuring Packaging Rhythm
【Pain Points】
Frozen shrimp are extremely prone to breakage from violent vibration and collision. Furthermore, if materials pile up or have gaps when entering the multi-head weigher, it leads to extremely uneven weighing. This severely affects the consistency and efficiency of the final packaging, causing significant yield losses.
【Core Technologies and Solutions】
To address brittleness and inconsistent feeding, we utilize our Z-Type Bucket Elevators and Vibratory Bowl Elevators. The individual food-grade buckets ensure gentle lifting without falls or collisions, successfully reducing the breakage rate. To ensure even feeding, we seamlessly integrate Horizontal Belt Conveyors and Rotary Accumulation Table. The round disc automatically arranges the products, guaranteeing a uniform cross-sectional layer. Combined with an intelligent frequency conversion control system, it precisely matches the rhythm of downstream multi-head weighers and packaging machines, achieving highly efficient and seamless production.
